The Kenny Grandchildren

Happy New Year! I have a very good feeling that 2019 is going to be a great year for me and my family and I hope it is a great year for you and yours too!

For Christmas this year, I got a new camera that I have been wanting for several months now and I am SO EXCITED. I took it to my first session of the new year, which also happened to be on New Year’s Day and my goodness I am so happy with the results. I photographed the Kenny boys with their grandmother who they so sweetly refer to as Mimi. Mimi was an absolute delight and it was very clear to me how much she adores these two precious boys. She coordinated her outfit perfectly with theirs and was so happy to hold the baby and snuggle up to his older brother for every picture. I had a blast doing this session for them.

We started out in the neighbor’s yard (they’ve moved!) and then as the sun started to peek out, we went across the street to shoot with the wooden farm fence. We almost had a visit from Penny, the resident horse of the farm! She looked at us from afar and then literally danced away as she saw her owner come to the far side of the fence to give her a scrumptious New Year’s breakfast (or at least I assume it was scrumptious). I am so thrilled with the results of these photos; 2019 is definitely off to a good start! Enjoy!
