Emily and Luke | Maternity Session in Colorado Springs

Emily and Luke are having a baby girl in September!! I am so excited for them as I know they will be great parents. I was also happy that I was able to capture this moment for them while they have a few short months left before baby girl’s anticipated arrival!

We did their photoshoot with their dogs CJ and Lilly at the Garden of the Gods, which also happens to be where Emily and Luke got married. The rock formations and the landscaping there are truly breathtaking; if you’re a local and you haven’t been, I strongly advise a trip out there. BUT even more beautiful than the landscape were the glowing smiles and love of these soon-to-be parents! Luke and Emily were so easy-going during their photoshoot and their genuine smiles were priceless. They make the perfect pair and I didn’t think they could get any cuter together until I witnessed Luke sneak Emily kisses in between posing and shots! Watching their love was so heart-warming and I am absolutely thrilled that I could capture a few of those moments for them to cherish forever. Even more, their baby girl will get to see how much she was loved by her parents even before her arrival into the world.

I am so happy for them to make this journey into parenthood together. As most of you probably know, being a parent is no easy feat, but the transition is much easier when you’ve got love as solid as a rock as your foundation. And these two have it; and theirs is more beautiful and solid than the rocks from the Garden. Just look at their photos for proof! I loved all of their photos so much that I had a hard time narrowing down which ones to put on the blog. It was a perfect evening and I am so excited to share the photos with you!
