Zach & Nicole | Maternity Session in Colorado Springs

The cat is out of the bag! Congratulations to Zach and Nicole and thank you for sharing your ultrasound photo! Their baby girl is due to arrive this winter. I am so excited for them and I know they will be amazing parents. I just adore this couple so much. They are such amazing people and are always willing to put up with some of my silly ideas!

For this session, I encouraged Nicole to bring her most recent ultrasound photo so we could snap a few announcement type pictures. And I just loved the way they turned out! This is such a special moment for Zach and Nicole, and now they get to hold on to this memory forever. Very shortly, they will grow to a family of three, so these final few months as a couple are important to cherish.

We did their ultrasound photo session at one of my favorite places in the Colorado Springs area, Fountain Creek. I had been checking out the blossoming pink flowers and was so excited that Zach and Nicole were willing to meet me out there for a few shots. And they dressed for the occasion! Nicole, as always, looked stunning wearing her flowing green dress. Zach complemented her perfectly with his button up and khaki pants. They’re starting to look like parents!

This couple is also always so natural. They typically talk between themselves after posing which make some of the most amazing candid shots. And they are just so sweet! I love watching Nicole’s cheerful personality interact with Zach’s more laid back one.

Zach and Nicole also very strongly believe in the importance of family. Nicole’s eyes really light up when she talks about her sisters, nieces and nephews, parents and grandparents who live back in Kentucky. She was so excited to surprise her family with the baby’s gender several months back. Her family continues to be an integral part of her life and I know this is a trait she will share with her own daughter. Both Nicole and Zach will be nurturing and supportive parents, and their baby girl is already loved so much.
