The Najera Family | Colorado Springs Family Session

I adore this family! They are all so sweet and Mom has one of the biggest and kindest hearts. I am so happy that I was able to get a few special moments for them!

We did this session several months ago when the fall leaves were changing colors. Currently, Colorado is nearing the end of winter and everything is drab and gray–looking back at these photos with all the bright colors really puts a smile on my face!

Mom totally NAILED their outfits. I think my jaw actually dropped when I saw how perfectly coordinated all of her kids were! I am still in awe how she managed to plan out and get all five kids in their outfits. They looked amazing! I loved the darker yellow on the boys with the deep oranges and browns on the sisters. Not only did the kids look great all bunched together, but they also really blended well with the natural fall colors on the trees. It was a perfect day!

Each of the kids were so well behaved! They were supportive of each other during the session and really seemed to enjoy holding hands and being together. And they loved running and playing. For one of the photos of just the kids, the oldest sister L helped me capture genuine smiles on everyone’s faces! She came up with the idea of gently bouncing on the log and it easily turning into giggling and laughing from all of the kids. That series is one of my favorites from the entire session!

Mom is also such an incredible person. Not only does she raise these five adorable babies, she works full time AND is going to school to become a nurse! She really is very hard working and dedicated in all aspects of her life. And to top it all off, I swear she is always smiling! She is so much fun to spend time with and her amazing children are a small reflection of how truly motivated she is for both herself and the future of her children.

Thank you so much for letting me take some photos of your beautiful family and creating memories for you!
